Peer Educator training, Caledon 12-14 Feb & 19-20 Feb 2019
CABSA’s Farm project is focused on training farmworkers to become Peer Educators so that they can share their knowledge of prevention, eradicating stigma and be a support to those living with HIV.
We had the opportunity to train Peer Educators in the Caledon area. CABSA is not new to the faith community in the Caledon area; however, we had to network to get the training going, as we are totally unknown to the farming community in Caledon.
One of the newly trained Peer Educators said the following; “We must be God’s presence as we help others”
We want to thank CHABAHIVA for enabling CABSA to roll out as life changing and lifesaving message to our farming communities.
