Johannesburg - Hundreds of people braved the wintry on Sunday morning chill to attend the launch of the HIV/Aids counselling and testing campaign at the Natalspruit Hospital in Katlehong, east of Johannesburg.
Among the dignataries expected were president Jacob Zuma, Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi and Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokoanyane.
The campaign, launching in all nine provinces, is aimed at educating and mobilising people to acknowledge their status, and enrolling those in need of treatment onto anti-retroviral drugs.
The campaign seeks to test 15 million people by the end of June 2011.
